Privacy
jOPS is a private, non-commercial tool, operated by a private individual (Henri Hagen, Vienna) for a small number of personally invited users. It is not a public service and nothing here is sold or monetized. Accounts are created by invitation only.
What jOPS stores
- Your account (name, email, password hash, optional two-factor secret).
- Your profile: the CV text and/or background you provide, your target preferences (sectors, locations, compensation), and generated content (job evaluations, cover letters, tailored CVs).
- Technical logs: sign-in attempts (time, IP, outcome — never passwords) and AI usage records (token counts and cost per action, no content).
Where it is stored & who processes it
- Database and hosting in the EU (Neon Postgres, Frankfurt; Vercel, Frankfurt region).
- When you run an AI action (evaluate a job, generate a letter, read a CV file), the relevant text is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not train on this API data. No other third parties receive your data.
- Transactional emails (password reset, release notes) are sent via Resend.
What jOPS never does
- No advertising, no tracking or analytics cookies, no sale or sharing of data.
- No automatic job applications — you always review and submit yourself.
Your rights & controls
- Export: download everything jOPS stores about you as JSON — Settings → Account → “Export my data”.
- Deletion: delete your account yourself (Settings → Account) — this permanently removes your profile, applications, letters, and CVs. Usage records are anonymized.
- For anything else (correction, questions): contact the operator directly — you know how to reach me; otherwise ai@henrihagen.com.
Because jOPS is operated privately and non-commercially for a closed circle, no commercial imprint is provided. If the nature of the service ever changes, this page changes first.
